Faraoni, 20, debuted for Inter last August in the Italian Super Cup and played his first Serie A game in November. Faraoni has played on numerous Italian youth teams, most recently the Under-21 side.
"Ricky van Haaren is certainly not usable for Feyenoord for six weeks," read a club statement. "The midfielder has a torn ankle ligament, as is shown by tests at the hospital."
Tests have shown that the injury is not serious, but the club still expects the 24-year-old to miss league games with Real Betis and Malaga as well as the first leg of the team's Copa del Rey showdown with Real Madrid on Wednesday.
The 22-year-old was taken off the field on a stretcher during Thursday's match, and the club has confirmed that he will undergo surgery in the next few days.
Fontas has appeared in five games in all competitions this season for the Catalan side.

Defensively, the Bucs recorded four sacks and held the Fins offense in check all day.
First round draft pick Aqib Talib was impressive in the secondary, recording a tackle and two pass defenses in his debut. Don’t be surprised to see Talib in the starting lineup opposite Ronde Barber for the Bucs in ’08.
The betting trends suggest that NFL bettors should be backing the Bucs in this intra-conference exhibition.

So in lieu of a odds figure in which to bet the team to win outright, the Bears might be a three-point favorite over the New York Giants, and a 17-point favorite over the also-ran. Now that the team that is the underdog can "get" points, there can be equal action on both sides.
